IPL 6 Grand Opening Ceremony
The sixth edition of IPL ( IPL 6) started with a sparkling and glamorous opening ceremonyat the Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium on 2nd April, 2013. The IPL 6 opening ceremony was really an excellent program with a gala affair with fanfare, music and other programs.
Film actor Shah Rukh Khan who is also the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders has taken up the responsibility of entertaining the audience with his production company, Red Chillies Entertainment which has taken care of each and every details on Tuesday evening.
The sixth edition of Indian Premier League ( IPL 6) started off with a colorful strobe lights, performers wearing long robes walking on the stilts, a foreign acrobatics team performing excellent stunts and so on.
The Cricket match is going to be started from 4th April, 2013 onwards but the entire stage on Tuesday, 2nd April, 2013 belonged entirely to the Bollywood and international stars who made the event unforgettable.
Some of the biggest film stars of India like Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone performed at the IPL 6 opening ceremony at the Salt Lake Stadium and entertained 1,20,000 audience.
Shah Rukh Khan has thrilled all the audience with a dance performance. Indian singer Usha Uthup and Bollywood music director Bappi Lahiri kept the audiences enthralled with disco tracks "Koi Yahan Nache Nache", "Hari Om Hari" and "Rambha Ho". There were also performances from cheerleaders, gymnasts, flying drummers, stilt-walkers, rhythm acrobats, air-tumblers and mass dancers. Here are some of the photos of IPL 6 opening ceremony.
