CAB plans to celebrate Sachin's birthday on 24th April, 2013

Sachin Tendulkar is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the Cricket, will be turning 40 years on 24th April, 2013 and many people and cricketers are pouring their tributes to this batsman.  Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly rated Sachin as the greatest player he had ever seen.  Australia Captain Michael Clarke said Sachin's passion for the game is unprecedented.

Mumbai Indians will be playing the IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 24th April, 2013 in Mumbai.  Mumbai city has some grand plans for celebrating the 40th birth day of the senior batsman, Sachin Tendulkar.  The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) also has ordered a special 40 pound cake for Sachin on his birthday.  A special Hyderabadi Chef has been put in charge to make the 40 pound cake which will have 40 different expressions of Tendulkar.  CAB Secretary Sujan Mukherjee said that they are yet to convey this to their team. They want to make it a low key affair in the Mumbai Indians dressing room.

Sachin is also planning to spend some time  visiting the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture in Golpark.  Some of the former students of the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya have plans to make the occassion a special one.
